1. General Principles
Kafkasya Journal of Health Sciences (KJHS) requires all authors, editors, and reviewers to disclose any potential conflicts of interest in order to maintain the objectivity and scientific integrity of published research.
A conflict of interest includes any financial, institutional, personal, or academic relationships that may influence the results or interpretation of a study.
2. Author Disclosure
- Authors must clearly state whether any conflicts of interest exist.
- If no conflict exists, the following statement should be included:
“The authors declare no conflict of interest.” - Financial support, consultancy, stock ownership, patents, or similar relationships must be explicitly disclosed.
- These statements should be included in the manuscript under “Conflict of Interest” or “Funding” sections.
3. Editors and Reviewers
- Editors and reviewers must withdraw from the evaluation process if they have any conflict of interest related to a manuscript.
- Any identified conflict must be managed to ensure an unbiased review process.
4. Evaluation Process
- All manuscripts are evaluated based on objective and scientific criteria, independent of any conflicts of interest.
- The Editorial Board takes necessary measures to ensure fairness and transparency.
5. Violations
- Failure to disclose conflicts of interest may result in actions under the journal’s ethical policies.
- Corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions may be issued when necessary.
6. Purpose
